Well, the new season has officially started. OTAs started last week and it actually felt great to get back on the practice fields by Gillette and to get back into a groove. We’ve been celebrating with Super Bowl parades and White House visits for the past few months so to get back to the basics of the game was really refreshing.
The coaches have us with no names or numbers on our shirts and helmets. They want us to improve our communication with each other and not being able to easily identify someone has definitely been interesting, but it has helped. In today’s NFL game, I’m good with anything that will help you get better.
We have two more weeks of OTAs then it’s back to summer and offseason mode. OTAs are nice timing wise since you get everyone back together for some practice, but you still have six weeks or so after this is relax until the real season starts with training camps.
Thanks for following along, think my next blog will be car related…I’ve been doing some really cool things this summer!
