Ninkovich Helps Out With Tom Brady’s “Best Buddies” Event
Many members of the New England Patriots participated last Friday in quarterback, Tom Brady’s “Best Buddies” Football Challenge. Best Buddies is a worldwide not-for-profit that aids people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Rob Ninkovich, LB, Patriots and members of Best Buddies were joined by other Patriot teammates such as Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola as well as actor Dane Cook, Governor Charlie Baker and Congressman Joe Kennedy III.
Ninkovich and a teammate made the game-winning touchdown after running back a 40-yard interception against his regular season quarterback in the final minutes of the game. Ninkovich flipped the ball to a teammate towards the goal line to let jim run in the touchdown.
“I’m not sure if Tom will be inviting me back next year,“ Ninkovich said jokingly about his interception. “But, it was just a blast to be out there to help support an organization like this one. I’m glad I was able to come out and help.”
